Was made in the mid seventies, made in Germany. It is a full transistor amplifier and it can be used for guitars, keyboards, Microphones or literally any instruments. 2 channels, each channel has 2 inputs high/low with some EQ features. 1 of the channels has reverb and tremolo. average features.
Sound Quality : 8
I used this amplifier on stage for more than 13 years, together with a Stratocaster (made in Japan, mid eighties, SUPER Sound!! with a Fender Floyd Rose). I always played with the GP-8 from Roland, one of the first versatile guitar effect processors of the late eighties. Sound is very good for clean (some write country chicken picking??) sound. Distortion with GP-8 and this amp is not outstanding, but I tweaked and adjusted the effects of the GP-8 according this amp and it was pretty good. But afterwards, I played a Bassman 10 and now a peavey classic 50, real tube combos; well you probably know that tube combos are just better, warmer.
Reliability : 10
I have it now for 18 years and IT ALWAYS Worked!! I played in concerts, in churches, open air....!! Hey, its German workmanship and for sure manufactured carefully and with high quality
Customer Support : No Opinion
never used, always worked.
Overall Rating : 8
Its an ok amp for the money, as you will not pay a lot if you can get one. As said, clean sounds are very clean and ok.

I use ES-335 and sounds great for Jazz and other styles that requires
clean sound, the Hamound reverb is very convincing, can get distortion
overdrive like if gain is on 10 and Master on 2 or more.
The two chanels are mixed and can play guitar and microphone together,
the first chanel has no effects on, it`s clean...the other has tremolo
and reverb with footswitch access.
Reliability : 6
The problem with this amp is the weight 34kg it has to be on stage
all the time, it has four wheels but for me it`s too heavy.
The speaker magnets are huge as wel as the transformer.
Never let me down, everything works great
Customer Support : No Opinion
Never need help, I can fixit my self if broken down
Overall Rating : 8
Playng jazz and blues on this is a dream, I have a Yamaha Fifty-112
from 1980, sounds good for 1x12w but Dynacord is the real thing.
That`s why I was looking for a German amp and I found it. |
